We Love Art: Fine Art Sales is an online fine art NFT marketplace that utilizes blockchain technology to solve issues faced by traditional online fine art retailers while making art collecting more accessible to art lovers around the world.

Our marketplace makes it easy for collectors to safely buy original fine art directly from art sellers like artists or art dealers with verifiable provenance built into the paintings themselves. Each painting is curated by our team and automatically digitized on our blockchain before it goes live as an NFT on the marketplace.

We also make it easy for artists and art dealers to sell their art on our marketplace while providing a number of benefits by leveraging our blockchain smart contract and non-fungible token technology.

Is We Love Art: Fine Art Sales the same as We Love Art?

We Love Art: Fine Art Sales was founded by the same core team that made We Love Art a global success. Our team has brought on experts from the blockchain industry to spearhead the development of the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales so we can ensure a safe and dependable user experience from start to finish.

How do I cancel a class?

After you have booked your class, you will receive an email with your booking confirmation. In this email you will find a bottom “Cancel Appointment”. Click on this and your appointment will be cancelled. The money you have paid can be used for any future class you decide to register for.

WE HAVE A 24 HOUR CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY:

If you need to cancel or reschedule a reservation, you must do so a minimum of one day before the event.

How is the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales different from an online fine art retailer?

The We Love Art: Fine Art Sales is built on blockchain technology, allowing us to sell fine art as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) backed by physical paintings shipped directly to consumers. By leveraging blockchain capabilities, we are able to reduce fees, automatically certify/verify provenance, and enable future revenue for artists/dealers from each painting sold on our platform. Our platform also offers features that allow for artists to extend the scope of their art by adding special videos, features, and access to their original art pieces.

From future revenue generation to creative experiences in the metaverse, digitizing fine art into NFTs opens up a world of opportunities for fine art that traditional retailers are simply not able to provide.

Marketplace

What is a ‘Wallet’?

When you create an account on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales our platform automatically generates a ‘wallet’ that is linked to your profile. Your ‘Wallet’ is a unique identifier (or address) that is used to send and/or purchase/receive NFTs on our platform and is where your funds ($MATIC) are stored and secured on the Polygon blockchain.

What is $MATIC and what is it used for?

$MATIC is native cryptocurrency used by Polygon, the blockchain technology upon which We Love Art: Fine Art Sales and countless other businesses are built. More specifically, $MATIC is an ERC-20 token, a token created on the Ethereum blockchain and is used on our platform to purchase paintings.

We use $MATIC because of its ability to seamlessly interact with paintings once they have been digitized by our platform into non-fungible tokens.

How do I purchase tokens ($MATIC) to use on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales?

We Love Art: Fine Art Sales's development team has worked diligently to make purchasing $MATIC as safe and hassle free as possible. Simply log in with your email to create a digital wallet and connect your credit card as you would on any other traditional (web 2.0) retailer. From there you can purchase the dollar value number of $MATIC tokens you require to obtain your desired art pieces.

What is Polygon?

Polygon is what is known in the blockchain industry as a Layer 2 blockchain protocol. In simplistic terms, Polygon is a blockchain technology built on the Ethereum blockchain allowing developers to take advantage of Ethereum’s network effects while building further tech solutions (dApps) that businesses - such as ours - can leverage.

What is a ‘Wallet Address’?

When you are logged into your We Love Art: Fine Art Sales account you may see a sequence of (42) numbers and characters beginning with a 0x; this is your wallet’s Public address. This wallet address is used to securely send, receive and store tokens/assets (including NFTs) on the Polygon network.

Can I share my ‘Public Wallet Address’ with other people?

Your Public Wallet Address does not need to be confidential and does not contain any private information that would allow someone else to access your wallet. In simple terms, you can consider your Public Wallet Address to be a username that allows others to send you assets such as tokens or NFTs on the Polygon blockchain network.

What is a Non-Fungible Token (NFT)?

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are unique tokens that exist on a blockchain and cannot be copied/replicated. For the purposes of the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales, a token -in this case $MATIC) is a tradable asset that securely stores information on the Polygon blockchain and can be sent to and from Polygon wallets.

Who can see what art I own?

Using We Love Art: Fine Art Sales's Gallery feature, anyone can visit your user profile and see what art you own as long as your wallet contains the NFT paintings bought through our platform, or through any other Ethereum-based marketplace.

Buying

How do I find items to buy on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales?

We Love Art: Fine Art Sales has made browsing fine art on our marketplace as simple as browsing products on any traditional retailer’s platform.

After navigating to https://www.meta.weloveart.com, users will immediately be greeted by a selection of purchasable art that has been curated by the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales team. Our marketplace allows you to sort and/or filter pieces by style, price, sale method, etc., and search for pieces by name or keyword.

When buying a painting on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales, am I buying an NFT, a physical painting, or both?

The We Love Art: Fine Art Sales is home to both physical and digital paintings from verified artists around the world. On each painting’s page there is a clear indication of whether the piece has a physical painting, or if the piece is a Digital-only piece. In either case, your piece will have an NFT attached to it that will be transferred to your wallet upon purchase, and can be resold (along with the physical painting if one exists) on our marketplace at your discretion.

What else do I receive when I buy a painting on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales?

Whether you purchase a Digital-only painting or one backed by a physical piece, you will also receive a print of the piece, shipped to you at no additional cost.

How and when do I receive my NFT after purchasing a painting on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales?

You will immediately receive the NFT version of the painting in your wallet. Transactions on the Polygon blockchain are typically almost instantaneous but can be subject to some variance.

How can I be certain of the provenance of a painting on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales

Part of the curation process includes verification of any existing provenance by the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales team. This process occurs prior to any painting goes live on our marketplace and is further secured once the piece has been tokenized into an NFT. From that point on, whenever the NFT is transferred to a new wallet, the new ownership is automatically - and securely - cryptographically embedded in the NFT, and this provenance verifiable at any time.

What image dimensions and image formats are supported by We Love Art: Fine Art Sales?

We Love Art: Fine Art Sales requires that images are:
● Dimensions: a maximum of [n x n]
● Image Format: [placeholder for formats], and
● File Size: no larger than [placeholder for file size].

What kinds of things can’t be sold on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales?

We Love Art: Fine Art Sales currently only accepts paintings for curation but has plans to expand into other fine art collectibles.

Do I have to mark my item as sold on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales?

You do not need to mark your item as sold after it has been purchased by another user. Our system automatically identifies when a piece has been sold and labels the piece accordingly.

Can I sell the NFT painting to one person, and the physical painting to another?

No. Ownership of an NFT backed by a physical painting indicates ownership of the physical painting itself.

Can I sell my painting NFT and keep the physical painting?

No. Ownership of an NFT backed by a physical painting indicates sole ownership of the physical painting itself.

Can I sell my painting as an NFT on multiple marketplace platforms?

No. Each non-fungible token is unique and cannot be replicated. Creating multiple NFTs based on the same token is against our Terms of Service and appropriate action will be taken to resolve attempts such as these.

How do I prove the provenance of the painting I am selling on the WLA Meta Marketplace?

The We Love Art: Fine Art Sales team works with the seller to verify provenance when a piece of art is first sold on the We Love Art: Fine Art Sales. Once a piece of art has been sold on the Marketplace, the corresponding NFT serves as a record of provenance that can be verified at any time.

Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping of physical paintings is covered by We Love Art Meta.

Can I use my own carrier for shipment?

You can use your own carrier at your own cost.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver globally.

Where will my physical painting and/or print be shipped from?

Physical paintings will be delivered from the seller’s general location, while prints will be delivered from [placeholder]

When will my physical painting and/or print be shipped?

Physical paintings are delivered after We Love Art Meta has confirmed a shipping method and pickup time with the seller.

Can I change my delivery address?

You may only change your delivery address before shipping has been confirmed with the seller.

How can I track my order?

A tracking number will be provided to each party so the package can be tracked while it is in transit.

What do I do if I received the wrong painting?
