Virtual Tour of the National Museum of Anthropology, Mexico City
Built in 1964, this museum is dedicated to the archaeology and history of Mexico’s pre-Hispanic heritage. There are 23 exhibit rooms filled with ancient artifacts, including some from the Mayan civilization.
Sadly, not all popular art museums and galleries could be included on Google Arts & Culture’s collection, but some museums are taking it upon themselves to offer online visits. According to Fast Company, the Louvre also offers virtual tours on its website.

Artistic talent ever so often comes with a price. Mental illnesses have a considerable impact on the sufferer’s creativity and how they choose to express themselves. The artists we admire today were once troubled with mental depression, trauma and mania.
As an art community, we want to highlight the importance of Mental Health Awareness Month and raise awareness on the unfair stigma associated with mental illness. Keep reading to find out how these heroic artists provide a present to the world in the form of timeless art which makes the world a brighter place, despite of being associated with a past of struggling to find joy.

The Experience
ArtLovers Quote Of The Week
“People say graffiti is ugly, irresponsible and childish… but that’s only if it’s done properly.” -Banksy
We Love Art Painting of The Week
An American Impressionist, Gregory states “I wish to carry on the conversation begun by Monet, and I believe there is still much to be said”. After 18 years of painting more and more, his work is infusing the stately quality of the traditional impressionists with his own unique approach and subject choice.
When Gregory created ”Flowers”, he simply imagined the flowers, especially their saturated color. He reminisced touching their cool softness against his face and inhaling fully their fragrance in broad daylight. Like the nature of a flower itself, it can be simple and striking or delicate and intricate all depending upon how you see it. There’s no certain method, just ideas waiting to be expressed!
