Tania Santos Silva

Meet our Artist of the Week, Tania! Tania has painted quite many  masterpieces from We Love Art; we think that her version of Golden Tears is absolutely marvelous! The intricate details, the texture of colours blending perfectly and of course, the golden detailing- we are stunned!

Thank you Tania for sharing your wonderful masterpiece with us!

The Experience

“I’m in love with Klimt since 2016. I used to stroll around Belvedere museum as it is the only few things open in Vienna on Sundays. Although golden tears is not from Klimt, but inspired on his work, it’s my best work so far. I’ve never though I would be painting his influences or work but the perks of COVID got me. The idea of crying gold during this pandemic times… makes you wonder right?”

 ArtLovers Quote Of The Week

“I dream my painting, and then I paint my dream.” – Vincent Van Gogh

OUR GLOBAL WLA COMMUNITY

We Love Art Painting of The Week

The Starry Night is an oil on canvas painting by Dutch Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh. Painted in June 1889, it depicts the view from the east-facing window of his asylum room at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just before sunrise, with the addition of an imaginary village. Starry Night is one of the most recognized pieces of art in the world. It is absolutely everywhere, too. It can be seen on coffee, mugs, t-shirts, towels, magnets, etc. Honestly, it sometimes feels as if the painting’s fame has exceeded that of its creator. It is a magnificent piece of art. That Starry Night resonates with so many people is a testament to how its beauty is timeless and universal.
