Explore the Historic District of Quebec
Bounded by fortifications dating to the 17th century, Old Quebec is rich in historic landmarks and museums. Upper Town contains the 1800s Citadelle fort, the grand Château Frontenac hotel and Terrasse Dufferin, a wide boardwalk overlooking the city.
A funicular connects to Lower Town and the Quartier Petit Champlain, with a 1688 stone church, Place Royale square and charming boutiques on Rue du Petit Champlain.

We Love Art Painting of The Week
The Kiss was painted by the Austrian Symbolist painter Gustav Klimt between 1907 and 1908. He used oil paint applied with layers of gold leaf to create a modern, yet evocative appearance.
Klimt used gold leaf in the painting to recall medieval gold ground paintings and illuminated manuscripts. In this masterpiece, he shows a couple that’s locked in intimacy, while the rest of the painting dissolves into a shimmering, extravagant flat pattern.
